Just Kids - Patti Smith
We’ve been fortunate enough to see Patti Smith live on multiple occasions.
Back in 1/31/15 she played the @sdbalboatheatre and after the show, after waiting what felt an eternity, she came out. She said hi to a few people, her only request no pictures as she was tired, after a round of hello from her she turned her attention to us.
We were expecting and when she noticed the baby bump it was as if time stood still for Patti. She approached us. Asked if she could touch the belly and shared some words with us.
To say it was surreal and magical would be an understatement.
But she was kind enough to share a moment with us and sign her book.
That moment will live forever with us.
